Pump & motor overhaul

Complete overhaul of pumps and electric motors as one train — stripped, measured, machined, reassembled and run-tested, with dynamic balancing, laser alignment and every result recorded in the final report.

One train, one standard

The same precision, now rotating

We built TAEKO on measured, certified valve work. Our pump & motor service extends that same culture to rotating equipment: clearances and run-out recorded, impellers balanced and motors electrically verified before the train goes back into service.

* All makes and models — centrifugal and multistage pumps, LV motors — in our Rayong workshop or at your site.

Why TAEKO

Rotating equipment, by the numbers

01

Measured, not guessed

Impeller and shaft run-out mapped point by point, wear-ring and bush clearances tabulated — decisions are made on data, not habit.

02

Balanced & aligned

Rotating assemblies dynamically balanced and the full train laser-aligned, with the reports kept in your job file.

03

Motors verified end-to-end

Insulation, winding resistance and inductance recorded in and out, bearing fits measured, and a no-load run before delivery — with rewinding handled when needed.

The process

Overhaul procedure

From receipt to run test — the same documented flow we apply to every TAEKO job, photographed and recorded at each stage.

01

Disassembly & cleaning

Match-mark, strip and clean the pump and motor, protecting every fit and sealing face.

02

Inspection & measurement

Run-out of shaft and impellers, wear-ring and bush clearances, bearing fits — plus motor insulation, resistance and inductance on arrival.

03

Parts replacement & machining

Renew bearings, sleeves, packing and couplings; machine or skim worn faces such as balance discs and seats.

04

Dynamic balancing

The rotating assembly is dynamically balanced, with before/after readings kept in the record.

05

Assembly & painting

Rebuild to the recorded fits, refinish and repaint for corrosion protection.

06

Alignment & run test

Motor-to-pump laser alignment is carried out, then rotation, leaks, vibration and noise are verified in a run test.

07

Final report

Every measurement, photo and result compiled into a signed service report.

Documented results

Every job, fully recorded

Each overhaul is documented end to end — fits and clearances, balancing before/after readings, alignment reports and motor test values all compiled into a signed service report. As this service comes online, example job records will be published here.

Balancing and alignment reports are attached to every job file.

Verified, not just repaired

Motors are tested the day they arrive and the day they leave: insulation to ground, phase-to-phase resistance and inductance, bearing and housing fits, then a no-load run with voltage and current logged. Overhaul or rewind — the decision is made on the test bench, not by guesswork.
