A refinished, reseated valve holds a tight shut-off — protecting product, enabling safe isolation for maintenance, and extending service life without a costly replacement.
An on-off valve is the same body with an actuator on top — so we overhaul both as one unit. The valve gets the same seat refinishing and API 598 testing; the actuator gets a full strip-down of its own: cylinder seals and diaphragms renewed, solenoid and limit switches checked, air lines cleaned and leak-tested.
After repair, every valve is shell-tested at 1.5× rated pressure with a size-based holding time, then seat-tested at 1.1× — hydrostatic tests pass only with zero visible leakage, while pneumatic tests are measured in bubbles per minute against the API 598 table. A functional test of operation and torque closes the job.
