Why oil-free matters

In oxygen service, oil is fuel

In high-purity oxygen and hydrogen systems, even a trace of hydrocarbon can ignite under pressure. Valves and components for these services must be certified oil-free. Our five-step process removes every trace of oil, grease and hydrocarbon, then seals the part clean until it reaches the plant.

The 5-step cleaning process

A certified process ensuring complete contaminant removal for the stringent oil-free requirements of global industrial gas standards.

STEP 01

Pre-cleaning (dry-ice blasting)

High-velocity CO2 strips heavy scale, baked-on gasket material and oil deposits from the surface.

STEP 02

Ultrasonic wash

Disassembled parts are immersed in a bath to lift residual oil from threads, ports and springs.

STEP 03

Rinse & dry

A deionized-water rinse followed by oil-free filtered air drying prevents flash rust and recontamination.

STEP 04

UV inspection

A darkroom UV inspection confirms 100% removal of hydrocarbon traces.

STEP 05

Vacuum packing

The oil-free part is vacuum-packed to guard against moisture and oxidation.
